Sorry if this is old news but since a recent update on my Windows 11 Calibre I’ve lost the sort by latest downloads. Now it’s purely alphabetical. Is there anyway to get back sort by date of last downloads?

Sort book list by Date

There's a Sort by tool you can add to toolbars and menus

Simply right click in the spreadsheet (VIEW):Sort by:<choice>
do the same a second time and it reverses the order

This works even if the column is hidden

Clicking on a column name also sorts. You will see a direction arrow on the column that is the latest sort

In a fresh calibre install the Sort By tool is not pre-installed into the book list context menu. I think it was once but not any more.

In Grid View a Sort button is shown to the left of the search bar.

And yes, I moved the Preferences button to where I think it belongs.
