Clara 2E Clara 2E Keeps Crashing

Clara 2E keep crashing when turning pages and fast-forwarding and there are lots of blank pages in a book that I am currently reading. The system version is 4.35.20400. Will there be a firmware update soon to fix this?

Just yesterday I fixed an ebook conversion to epub from azw3 where every paragraph was a new page. The regular paragraphs had a class called "chapter" and the first paragraph had a class called "chapter-first". I renamed those in the azw3 file with a right-click rename which did enitire of all HTML files and CSS file in one go.
Reconverted the azw3 and it was fine.

What eBook is it? What's the original format? What format is it on your Kobo? Where did it come from?

It's an Adobe DRM encrypted ebook. The book is "CompTIA Network+ Study Guide" if that's relevant. I got it from ebooks(dot)com.

The version I downloaded is not PDF though, it's an encrypted EPUB. When I open the book in ADE seems fine. But Clara 2E seems like it doesn't like this book.

Kobo also may use an older ADE.

Journals & Textbooks in electronic form are problematic and a rip-off compared to other ebooks.

Also formatting is often problematic on ebook versions of textbooks (PDF has no issues) because epub2 was aimed at novels. Then also the quality of ebook formatting by big publishers is poor compared to paper/PDF versions.
